Yad Chaya, Inc. was formed in the summer of 2001 and began operations in September 2001. Yad Chaya was created to address the needs of a large contingency of our Jewish brothers and sisters in Israel and the United States. It was designed to help those who find themselves faced with life’s difficulties for any number of reasons.

In its short history, Yad Chaya has received and distributed over $2,000,000 in contributions. Please note that none of the contributions received by Yad Chaya are spent on overhead. Yad Chaya is run and operated completely by volunteers and uses volunteer office space as its headquarters.
